Join an IT operations center team to manage the performance and availability of a multi-site IT system, with a focus on a new cloud data platform observability project using Dynatrace and OpenTelemetry.

Our client, an international group, is strengthening its IT operations center. You will join a team responsible for the performance and availability of a multi-site IT system. The group is also launching an observability project on its new cloud Data Platform.

Freelance mission with 3 days on-site presence, 3-month renewable contract, visibility until the end of July 2027.
Obs team of 3 people. Knowledge of a cloud provider is a plus.
- Use Dynatrace platform data to identify incidents, their causes, and their impacts.
- Act as a Level 2 expert for infra and application teams, from diagnosis to resolution.
- Evolve the platform: configuration, extension to new areas, monitoring of performance indicators.
- Integrate observability from the design phase of new IT projects.
- Participate in the flagship project: implement observability for a Data Platform on Google Cloud (GCP). This involves collecting telemetry from GCP services (BigQuery, Dataflow, GKE, Pub/Sub...) and feeding it into Dynatrace.
- Deploy and industrialize OpenTelemetry: application instrumentation, collector configuration, standardization of traces, metrics, and logs.
- Fully leverage Dynatrace SaaS: cloud integrations, dashboards, SLOs, and alerting on data pipelines.
- Validate testing environments and design custom dashboards for technical and data teams.
- Proven expertise in Dynatrace: traces, dashboards, alerting, anomaly detection.
- Solid experience in production supervision and monitoring.
- Good foundation in systems and infrastructures.
- A plus: knowledge of OpenTelemetry and a public cloud, ideally GCP.
- A plus: sensitivity to data environments (pipelines, ETL, data platform).
- Analytical mindset, autonomy, and rigor.
- Good interpersonal skills and enjoyment of cross-functional work.
- Fluent French, professional English (international context).
