E2E Solution Architect (Market Services)

Project overview

My Dublin City Centre based client is recruiting for an E2E Solutions Architect for the Market Services within the organisation to support a major systems modernisation programme within a Markets Services technology environment. This is a 6 month daily with a view to be extended. The successful candidates will have strong solution architecture and integration experience, ideally within banking, financial services or capital markets. They will be responsible for shaping end-to-end technical solutions across markets applications, operational platforms, integration services and supporting data environments.

Working closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams and architecture functions, the architects will provide technical leadership throughout the design and delivery life cycle, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, resilient and aligned with business and technology objectives.

Ideal Candidate

A pragmatic, delivery-focused Solution Architect with strong integration skills and experience designing complex enterprise solutions. Markets Services or Capital Markets experience, particularly in platform modernisation and financial services transformation, is highly desirable.

• Own end-to-end solution architecture for Markets Services initiatives.
• Design application and integration solutions across markets platforms, operational processes and enterprise systems.
• Define integration patterns using APIs, microservices, messaging/MQ, event-driven services and file transfers.
• Produce solution designs, architecture diagrams and technical specifications.
• Guide delivery teams and collaborate with business, technology and enterprise architecture stakeholders.
• Ensure solutions meet security, regulatory, performance, scalability and resilience requirements.
• Support data migration, Legacy modernisation, architecture governance and technical risk management.
• 7-8+ years in solution architecture or technical design.
• Strong end-to-end architecture experience in complex enterprise environments.
• Expertise in application and integration architecture, including APIs, microservices, MQ and file-based interfaces.
• Experience integrating Legacy and modern cloud-based platforms.
• Ability to translate business requirements into practical, scalable solutions.
• Strong technical leadership, stakeholder management and architecture governance skills.
• Markets Services, Capital Markets or investment banking technology.
• Trade life cycle, settlements, confirmations, reconciliations and front-to-Back Office systems.
• Murex MX.3 or other financial markets platforms.
• Payment processing and financial transaction systems.
• CRM platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics or Siebel.
• Oracle RDBMS, PL/SQL, Forms and Reports.
• Legacy modernisation, data migration and enterprise integration in regulated environments.
