Job description

Svenska kraftnät is seeking a team of business developers (competence levels 2-5) to work on initiatives for more efficient project execution and handover of technical facility information. The roles involve supporting ongoing projects related to a new facility project model and improving handover processes.

Project overview

For Svenska kraftnät, we are now looking for a team of business developers, competence level 2-5.

Background/Assignment Description

Svenska kraftnät is undergoing a period of extensive change, characterized by both an expanded mission and changing requirements for the business. To meet the need for faster expansion of the electricity grid and simultaneously ensure efficient project execution, there is a clear need for shorter lead times, increased coordination, and better support throughout the project cycle.

As part of this, several business development initiatives are underway in the areas of efficiency, project management, and project execution.

One of the larger initiatives is a business project named "Effective handover of technical facility information to operations" which aims to shorten lead times and increase the quality and predictability of handovers of technical facility information from the project operations to the operations organization.

Effective handovers encompass several sub-projects with different focus areas, such as the development of working methods, IT support, and technical guidelines related to the handover procedure for technical facility information.

Parts of the business project require continued development and execution capacity during 2027. Several initiatives started within the framework of the current project are expected to be expanded.

Another major initiative is the development of a new facility project model (APM), which will eventually replace the current project model and create a clearer, more user-friendly, and scalable model for executing facility projects. APM includes the project model as well as associated governance, processes, working methods, and business support.

The project is in the execution phase, with a focus on further development, testing, implementation, and anchoring of the model and associated working methods, governance, and system support. The project's main result is a completed and tested facility project model, as well as documentation and recommendations for subsequent scaling and migration within the business.

To ensure continuity, benefit realization, and continued progress, Svenska kraftnät therefore plans to extend the ongoing project. Read more in the attachment - Call for Proposals.
