Job description

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to support our plant engineering projects, focusing on the electrical planning, design, and implementation of complex plant components.

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to support our projects in plant engineering. You will work closely with our team and be responsible for the electrical planning, design, and implementation of complex plant components.

Your tasks include the planning and design of electrical connections, the design of control cabinets, and the planning of cable routes. You will support the installation and connection of electrical components in existing plants, particularly the integration of new plants into existing systems. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the electrical support of plants with pumps, control valves, and agitators, and will take on tasks in the area of lighting systems and illumination.

Another focus is on the integration and connection of sensors, as well as the connection of temperature and flow meters. You will conduct tests and plan how new plants can be optimally integrated into existing systems. Cost estimations and planning in the electrical engineering environment are also part of your responsibilities.

We expect at least five years of professional experience as an Electrical Engineer in plant engineering, ideally with a background in the foundry or steel industry. Experience with older existing plants from the 1970s and 1980s is advantageous. You should have sound knowledge in the design of control cabinets, the planning of cable routes, and sensor and measurement technology. Cost estimation understanding and the ability to collaborate with project engineers and managers are required.
