Electrical Planner/PLC Programmer

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Planner and PLC Programmer for the development and realization of control concepts in the field of crane systems. This position offers the prospect of being hired by our client.

Your tasks include the development of control concepts, the creation of circuit diagrams with EPLAN, and the programming of PLC controls (e.g., Siemens TIA Portal, S7). You will plan and implement control technology, perform calculations, and create technical documentation. Furthermore, you will optimize existing products in terms of technical and economic aspects, carry out commissioning at the plant and at the customer's site, and analyze and resolve faults on new and existing systems. Collaboration with project managers to coordinate technical details is also part of your responsibilities.

We expect a completed degree in electrical engineering or a comparable qualification. Professional experience as an electrical designer or in crane construction is desirable. Profound knowledge in programming and project planning with TIA Portal (S7 controls, HMI) and experience with EPLAN Electric P8 are required. Basic English skills are necessary. A strong technical understanding, a sense of responsibility for economic success, and willingness to undertake occasional multi-day business trips are prerequisites.

The work location is Gescher, North Rhine-Westphalia, with on-site presence.
