Embedded Software Engineer
Contract - Inside IR35

We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to support a small, enthusiastic team of engineers delivering innovative technology solutions for our key customers.

Please note due to the nature of this role candidates must either hold current SC clearance or be willing to go through the SC clearance process.

- Prototype innovative wireless solutions.
- Develop Embedded software and firmware in C/C++, mainly on platforms such as Microblaze or RISC-V.
- Work in an agile environment to build prototypes.
- Take proven prototypes forward to a deployment-ready standard.
- Work with Embedded Linux, including tools such as Buildroot and Yocto.
- Configure U-Boot, Kernel and device trees.
- Build and deploy Embedded Linux systems in offline environments.
- Experience programming Embedded systems in C/C++.
- Experience with bare-metal and Embedded Linux environments.
- Experience with Linux device drivers, including DMA, interrupts and device trees.
- Knowledge of Digital Signal Processing.
- Knowledge of software defined radio.
