Project overview

For an exciting project in the area of Hardware Supply Chain Management & Logistics, we are looking for support in Order Management at a leading IT service provider in the public sector.

In this position, you will take over the coordination and control of orders for IT components and accompany their processing along the entire operational logistics chain. You will ensure smooth processes, structured order planning, and reliable coordination with the involved departments and logistics partners.

Activities:

Order Management: You will create, process, and monitor our orders for IT components and for customers.

Planning & Control: You will coordinate all incoming orders within the scope of daily, weekly, and monthly planning.

Logistics Coordination: You will control and accompany the operational work steps along the entire logistics chain.

Documentation: You will maintain and document order data for rollouts, rollbacks, and relocations.

Reporting: You will create operational evaluations and reports on order volume and order processing.

Process Optimization: You will contribute ideas for continuous improvement (CIP) of processes, tools, and procedures in order management.

Communication: You will coordinate by phone with the involved units and external logistics partners.

Inventory Support: You will support warehouse inventories and clarify emerging issues.

Profile:

Education: You have completed vocational training in a commercial or technical field.

Professional Experience: You have at least one year of experience in the logistics environment and in business administration tasks, particularly in demand planning, procurement, and system-based order entry.

Order Processing: You have at least one year of experience in the creation, processing, coordination, and control of logistical orders and processes.

Problem Management: You have at least one year of experience in handling logistical problems, including complaint processing, plausibility checks, and communication with customers and logistics partners.

System Knowledge: You are familiar with ERP systems and monitoring transport orders, especially with SAP MM and SAP SD.

MS Office: You have knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio.

Language Skills: You master German at C1 level and English at B1 level.

Willingness to Travel: You are willing to undertake occasional business trips, not exceeding 5% of your working time.
