Responsibilities

• Analysis, cleaning, and quality assurance of energy-related master and transactional data
• Verification and reconciliation of site, meter, supplier, consumption, and billing data
• Support with Energy Billing, Metering, and Exception Handling
• Maintenance and transfer of energy-related data into TIMS or comparable systems
• Documentation of data gaps, inconsistencies, and necessary corrections
• Creation of functional requirements, data mappings, validation rules, and work documents
• Preparation and execution of functional tests and User Acceptance Tests (UAT)
• Processing of clearly defined operational energy management work packages
• Creation of comprehensible result and handover documentation
• Close functional collaboration with the German Energy Team and relevant interfaces from Finance, IT, Data, and Billing

Requirements

My advantages:

• Extensive experience in the German energy and utility sector
• Sound knowledge of Energy Billing, Metering, and energy industry processes
• Experience in Energy Data Management, including data quality, data cleaning, and master data maintenance
• Confident handling of meter, site, supplier, invoice, and consumption data
• In-depth expertise in analyzing large, sometimes incomplete datasets
• Very good Excel skills for data reconciliation, error analysis, and reporting
• Experience in Requirements Engineering, data validation, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Structured, independent, and analytical working style with clear documentation of results
• Additional plus points are knowledge of TIMS, SAP (REFX/EHA/EDM), data migrations, and e-invoicing
• Seeking an operational data/billing expert with a hands-on mentality, explicitly not a pure project manager or strategy consultant
• Challenging and varied tasks in a future-oriented and innovative industry
• Prospect of follow-up projects
