Engineer Integration Planner

Project overview

For our client, we are currently looking for an Engineer Integration Planner.

Responsibilities

• Project-related integration and execution planning for network and voice communication technology as part of the technology change in the telecommunications network.
• Consideration of technical specifications, input data, and interfaces to:
• Power supply and data network
• TDM, SDH, PDH, xWDM/DWDM
• Microwave and radio systems
• Voice communication
• MPLS-TP and IP-MPLS
• Routers and switches
• Affected asset and IT projects
• Creation of site-specific room and installation planning, including cabinet arrangement, cabinet sequence, and cabinet design based on Network Engineering specifications.
• Planning and documentation of cabinets, including all planned devices and individual components.
• Documentation of physical paths and optical and electrical cabling structures between cabinets and endpoints.
• Creation of site-specific cabinet overviews, station overviews, and cable lists indicating source and destination.
• Determination and documentation of required electrical circuit diagrams based on current RUPLAN documents.
• Planning and documentation of power requirements and power supply to the telecommunications technology cabinets (without planning the power supply itself).
• Creation and updating of technical documentation for the planned and installed communication technology.
• Creation and consolidation of project-specific parts lists and order lists as a basis for the procurement of infrastructure and hardware.
• Processing of integration planning services based on project requirements and service requests "Integration Planning" via Ivanti HEAT.
• Documentation of planning results in Connect Master and, if necessary, in AutoCAD, MS Office, and Visio.
• Ad-hoc and project-related technical clarifications and consideration of required special solutions.
• Consideration of all sites and operating locations according to the service order; data centers are excluded.
• Provision of services predominantly remote; required on-site appointments in Berlin/NQT.

Requirements

• Completed university degree or vocational training in electrical or telecommunications engineering or comparable qualification.
• Proof of independent, careful, and punctual working method.
• Sound knowledge in the planning and installation of communication technology, especially:
• Rack, cabinet, and cabling systems
• Assembly project planning for telecommunications trades
• Construction and equipping of technology cabinets including individual components (e.g., Rittal)
• Optical and electrical cross-cabling between cabinets and endpoints/customers
• Integration and positioning of active network components according to network planning
• Basic knowledge of TDM, DWDM, microwave, voice, MPLS-TP, and IP-MPLS technologies.
• Knowledge of working with routers and switches.
• Experience with network documentation and planning systems, ideally:
• Connect Master
• AutoCAD
• RUPLAN
• Confident use of MS Office and MS Visio.
• Language skills:
• German: C1
• English: A2
• Willingness for project-related on-site appointments in Berlin/NQT.
• If required: Positive security clearance according to SÜG, Level 2.
