Job description
We are looking for a Network Technician/Rollout Technician to assist our internal network team with network cabinet modifications, hardware installation/removal, and patching. The role requires on-site work in Ulm, including potential weekend shifts.
Project overview
Conversion of network cabinets / data cabinets
Installation and removal of network switches
Dismantling and reinstallation of existing hardware
Patching and plugging of network connections
Documentation of work performed
Support of the internal network team on-site
Compliance with work and safety regulations
Requirements
Completed IT training (e.g., IT specialist system integration, IT system electrician, IT technician or similar)
Basic knowledge of network technology
Experience with:
Switches
Patch panels
Network cabinets
Cabling
Manual dexterity
Independent way of working
Willingness to work outside regular hours (weekend) on-site in Ulm
