Job description
Lead and oversee all engineering management activities, including system engineering, for complex projects, focusing on offshore platforms. This role involves building interfaces, managing multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with technical, regulatory, and HSE requirements.
Project overview
+ Lead and oversee all activities in the field of engineering management, including system engineering, ensuring alignment between project goals, technical requirements, schedule, costs, quality goals, and system lifecycle requirements.
+ Build and maintain effective interfaces between engineering disciplines, project packages, EPCI contractors, procurement, logistics, operations and maintenance, approval authorities, certification bodies, and other key stakeholders.
+ Strategically monitor engineering interfaces and promote the resolution of cross-functional technical issues and risks.
+ Lead and develop multidisciplinary engineering teams, ensuring adequate competencies, resources, and succession planning.
+ Define engineering governance processes, decision-making frameworks, and reporting structures to support efficient project execution.
+ Establish, maintain, and communicate engineering processes, and provide training and guidance to the project team to ensure consistent application.
+ Ensure the consistent integration of all technical, operational, regulatory, HSE, certification, and approval requirements into the overall project plan.
+ Monitor technical progress, performance indicators, resource utilization, and milestones during project execution.
+ Support project management in managing technical changes, claims, technical risks, and opportunities.
+ Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, permits, standards, company requirements, and international best practices.
+ Monitor contractor compliance with technical, HSE, QA/QC, certification, and contractual requirements.
Requirements
+ Completed degree in Engineering
+ at least 10 years of experience in complex projects with a focus on a senior engineering role
+ Thorough understanding of engineering management principles, system integration, and project execution methods.
+ Sound knowledge of relevant industry standards, legal requirements, quality management systems, and HSE practices.
+ Ability to work in an international and cross-functional project environment.
+ Proven ability to effectively manage technical resources, budgets, schedules, and project priorities.
+ Experience in HVDC-EPCI or comparable projects
+ English C1 level
