Enterprise Architect / Domain Architect, Core Banking Transformation / 100% / ZH

Project Focus: For a strategic transformation program in the banking environment, we are looking for an experienced Senior Enterprise / Domain Architect. The focus is on the consolidation of existing core banking systems and the development of a future-proof, overarching application and reference architecture. Start 01.01.2027 at 100% for 14 months in Zurich.

Responsibilities

• Development of strategic target and reference architectures for core banking systems and adjacent applications.
• Analysis and evaluation of business requirements across various banking domains.
• Development of the transformation and implementation roadmap, including dependencies, critical paths, and exit points.
• Technical support of the RfP process as well as evaluation and challenging of potential solution providers.
• Close collaboration with Enterprise Architecture, business units, management, and delivery teams.

• Many years of experience as an Enterprise or Domain Architect in complex IT landscapes, ideally in banking.
• Proven experience with core banking transformations, consolidations, or migrations across multiple banking domains.
• Sound knowledge of banking applications, reference architectures, and common integration patterns.
• Experience with TOGAF, Capability Based Modelling, and agile methods such as Scrum or SAFe.
• Strong communication skills at management and implementation levels.
• German: at least C1
• English: (C1)
