Job description
We are seeking an Enterprise Architect to support a client project focused on increasing availability in data center environments and implementing legal requirements, including KRITIS, ISO27001, NIS2, and EnEfG.
Project overview
To support one of our clients, an Enterprise Architect (m/f/d) for remote and on-site deployment is sought promptly.
The project aims to increase availability in the data center environment within the scope of BA requirements and implement legal regulations. The BA requirements from KRITIS, ISO27001 according to BSI Basic Protection Compendium, NIS2, and the EnEfG must be met.
Area of Responsibility
Requirements Special Knowledge
- Survey and Assessment Methodology: Uniform, reliable, and verifiable basis so that all affected IT systems can be assessed with the same methodology and results can be aggregated comparably.
- System Inventory and Database (currently approx. 200 IT systems including platforms): Complete, up-to-date, and verified data basis for each affected system as the basis for all further analyses.
- Coordination with the responsible parties of all affected IT systems: Reliable statements for each system confirmed by the system administrators; avoidance of false assumptions in solution design and cost consideration.
- Analysis of Redundancy Capability and Adaptation Needs per System: For each system, identify the gap between the current state and the goal of "resilient structures, operated geo-redundantly", translate it concretely into technical adaptation measures, and estimate the implementation effort.
- Proposal of Redundancy Mode per IT System: For each IT system, a clear, justified, and enforceable proposal for the geo-redundant operating mode that demonstrably fulfills the requirement "is operated in resilient structures, geo-redundantly".
- Determination of HW/Server Requirements for Resilient Structures/Geo-redundant Data Center: Reliable quantity framework for hardware/servers that must be purchased, installed, and operated in the geo-redundant data center – derivable for each item from the systems and chosen redundancy modes.
- Coordination/Support for Cost Estimation of Adaptations to Existing IT Systems: Reliably answer the question "What does it cost to make the existing systems operable in resilient structures, geo-redundantly?" for each system and in total.
- Contribution to Technical Solution Design (short TLE) and Handover: Transfer the results into a complete set of documentation that can be immediately expanded into the responsible TLE by the Lead Enterprise Architect.
- Development and Creation of Enabling Scenarios for Resilient Structures and Geo-redundancy
- Development of Playbooks for Enabling IT Systems/Procedures for Resilient Structures and Geo-redundancy
- For Enabling IT Systems: Review existing tools for their usability and identify gaps if necessary
- Determination of Dependencies during Migrations in the System Landscape and Consideration in Planning
- Support in Leading Large Project Groups
- Content-related contribution to PDP Management and Lead Enterprise Architect as well as review of PDP deliverables
- in the regulatory environment of data centers and hybrid IT architectures in the public sector
- regarding the data center strategy of BA IT1 for the platforms and products used in BA / IT of BA
