CONTEXT

Major international luxury group. The Enterprise Architecture function is being structured: the challenge is to establish a clear EA framework, covering vision, governance, and Operating Model on one hand, and architecture fundamentals on the other. The mission involves assessment, scoping, and structuring - not technical execution. The role is that of the project manager for this initiative: they will lead the mission and supervise a full-time enterprise architect.

• Lead the mission from end to end: scoping, planning, deliverables, committee structure
• Supervise the initiative's enterprise architect and ensure quality of output
• Present topics to senior / C-level stakeholders (CTO, Data & AI Director)
• Clarify the mandate of Enterprise Architecture, its vision, and its 2027 priorities
• Co-build the Target Operating Model for the EA function
• Rethink the functioning of the Design Authority and architecture committees
• Define the associated communication and adoption plan
• Identify priority architecture guidelines, patterns, and rules
• Lead the mapping of platform capabilities and their evolution
• Arbitrate the vision for Data Architecture and architecture tooling
• Dual role as project manager and enterprise architect: mission leadership backed by real architect experience
• Building a Target Operating Model and architecture governance (Design Authority, committees, validation bodies)
• Ability to challenge the existing situation and build a pragmatic target state
• Supervision of a consultant
• Demonstrated ease in interacting with C-level stakeholders
• Fluent English
• TOGAF certification
• Experience in the luxury or retail sector
• Communication and adoption plan for an EA approach
• Architecture tooling (APM tools / market EA repositories)
