A telecom expert consultant is needed to manage and coordinate the migration of the INUIT network for a major energy sector infrastructure operator. The role involves preparing, coordinating, and monitoring network migrations across various projects.

CONTEXT
For a major critical infrastructure operator in the energy sector, we are looking for a telecom expert consultant to manage and coordinate the migrations of the INUIT network (INfrastructure Unique d'Intégration des Télécoms), which consolidates the communication needs of approximately 4,000 tertiary and industrial sites.
The network relies on two IP WANs: a private MPLS WAN linked to the internal fiber asset, and an operated WAN for sites not served by the optical infrastructure. The mission is part of four workstreams: end of copper local loop, SmartElectre, STAC shutdown, and digitization of control-command.
PREPARATION AND COORDINATION OF MIGRATIONS
MANAGEMENT AND MONITORING
CONDITIONS
- Take ownership of the telecom organization, its projects, and its monitoring tools
- Support the preparation, execution, and monitoring of INUIT deployments and transformations
- Validate migration prerequisites: connection support, INUIT transformation, stakeholder availability
- Coordinate and plan migrations according to project priorities
- Coordinate the migration of sensitive services: remote control, remote protection, remote reading
- Coordinate stakeholders: national and regional teams, operator, telecom provider, operations center, maintenance, and subcontractors
- Implement and maintain the migration schedule and monitoring tools
- Lead follow-up meetings, write minutes and decisions
- Monitor progress, identify blockages and delays, propose solutions to secure migrations
- Check the consistency of reported statuses and indicators
- Track derogation requests
- Update asset management tools (INFOTEL) after migration
- Write and evolve migration processes and operating procedures
- Start date: 01/04/2027
- Duration: 6 months firm + 2 optional 12-month extensions (30 months maximum)
- Location: Paris La Défense, occasional one-day trips to the regions
- Technical assistance — freelance status mandatory, umbrella company excluded
