Enterprise/Domain Architect Core Banking Systems

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Enterprise/Domain Architect to support a strategic platform program in the financial sector. As part of this project, the existing core banking system landscape will be consolidated and realigned for the future.

Your tasks include developing the strategic application architecture for core banking systems and their connected applications. You will create a bank-wide reference architecture across various business domains and structure business requirements in close coordination with business and IT stakeholders. Furthermore, you will develop an implementation roadmap including critical path and dependencies, accompany the core banking transformation through all project phases, and support the preparation and execution of a tender process.

We expect several years of experience as an Enterprise or Domain Architect in complex IT landscapes, ideally with a focus on core banking systems. Sound knowledge in the architecture and transformation of core banking systems is required, particularly in the areas of accounts, securities, payments, billing, and financing. Proven experience in core banking transformations across all project phases is essential.

You have very good knowledge of modern architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and Capability Based Modelling, as well as common integration patterns. Experience in agile project environments and a broad understanding of banking applications and bank-wide reference architectures complete your profile. Your ability to communicate complex architectural decisions in a target-group-oriented manner is of great importance.

German language skills at C1 level are required. The project runs for 14 months in a 100% hybrid mode in the Zurich region.
