Seeking an Environmental Manager to bridge the gap between civil engineering reconstruction and area development projects and their stakeholders. Responsibilities include stakeholder analysis, developing participation and communication strategies, and facilitating public engagement.

As an environmental manager, you connect the environment with civil reconstruction and area development projects.
Profile of the suited interim professional:
- Prepare an environmental analysis of stakeholders, interests, and influences per project and translate this into a participation plan and communication strategy.
- Stimulate the involvement of residents and external parties in the projects and expand existing networks.
- Advise on the method of participation and the communication approach for projects in public spaces.
- Prepare a communication plan together with the project team, the municipality's communication team, and the district coordinator.
- Coordinate and facilitate consultations with residents, entrepreneurs, and interest groups.
- Resolve conflict situations and seek sustainable solutions.
- Participate in the development of policy regarding the living environment.
- Advise the executive and management on environmental issues, if desired.
- HBO level in terms of work and thinking, focused on communication and/or environmental management
- At least 5 years of current experience at a municipality with stakeholder and/or environmental management for infrastructure and civil engineering
- Demonstrable experience in managing participation and/or consultation processes with various external parties
- Knowledge of and experience with stakeholder and/or environmental management within a municipal organization (preferred)
- At least 5 years of current experience within the government as an environmental manager (preferred)
- Experience at a municipality, province, water board, or Rijkswaterstaat (preferred)
