The assignment focuses on offensive security within Defense's highly classified information systems (HGI). You will be responsible for identifying and exploiting vulnerabilities, developing exploits, and contributing to information security standards.
Project overview
The assignment focuses on offensive security within Defense's highly classified information systems (HGI).
Profile of the suited interim professional:
- Detecting and exploiting vulnerabilities in Windows applications and domains, Linux IoT, AI systems, radio systems, OT systems, and web applications
- Interpreting and resolving identified vulnerabilities
- Automating tasks and developing or integrating tooling with Python, Bash, and PowerShell
- Developing exploits in C++ and Python
- Assessing information security risks, threats, and consequences and taking appropriate measures
- Providing training and awareness regarding information security
- Technically validating, implementing, configuring, and managing security tools
- Contributing to information security standards and procedures within the IT community
- Minimum of 4 years of demonstrable work experience in a role comparable to the eCF profile Information Security Specialist
- Demonstrable work experience with Linux
- Preferably experience with finding and exploiting vulnerabilities in Windows environments, Linux IoT, AI systems, radio systems, OT systems, and web applications
- Preferably experience with scripting languages Python, Bash, and PowerShell for automation and tooling
- Preferably experience with exploit development in C++ and Python
