Expediter / Dispatcher Purchasing & Material Management

Responsibilities

Profile

• Active monitoring and ensuring material availability for ongoing production and customer projects
• Regular tracking of deadlines with suppliers and consistent follow-up on delivery delays
• Close collaboration with Purchasing, Supply Chain, Production, and Project Management
• Identification of supply bottlenecks and initiation of appropriate measures to ensure delivery capability
• Maintenance and updating of delivery dates, material data, and availabilities in the ERP system
• Support for project purchasing as needed, for example with inquiries, orders, or supplier coordination
• Escalation of critical procurement situations and professional communication with internal and external stakeholders
• Commercial or technical basic training, ideally with experience in dispatching, purchasing, material planning, or supply chain
• Technical understanding and interest in industrial products and manufacturing processes
• Experience in dealing with suppliers and deadline management is an advantage
• Assertive personality who consistently pursues delivery dates and communicates professionally even in demanding situations
• Structured and solution-oriented way of working with a high degree of initiative
• Confident use of ERP systems and standard MS Office applications
• German language skills in speaking and writing, English language skills in speaking and writing are an advantage
