Experienced Infrastructure Security Coordinator

Project overview

Context:

Our client is looking for an Infrastructure Security Coordinator to strengthen their Operational Security and Security Coordinators team within the IT department.

The Infrastructure Security Coordinator contributes to the definition, promotion, and implementation of security requirements across all of the Group's infrastructures.

They act as a transverse referent for on-premise infrastructure security topics and support teams in integrating security best practices throughout the lifecycle of services and projects.

They ensure interface between Infrastructure, Security, Architecture, Production, and Business teams to promote the consideration of security issues while taking operational constraints into account.

Their role consists of supporting the various stakeholders in finding pragmatic solutions that reconcile risk management, infrastructure resilience, service continuity, and security requirements.

Scope of Intervention

The Security Coordinator primarily covers the Group's on-premise infrastructures.

The Cloud scope is handled by another coordinator.

The mission requires a transverse vision of the main technical areas of infrastructure as well as a deep understanding of their security challenges.

Technical Areas Concerned

Networks: Security of network infrastructures.

Identity and Directory Services: Security of identity and directory services.

DNS and Domain Names: Security of DNS services and domain name management.

Digital Certificates and PKI: Security of digital certificates and public key management infrastructures.

Email Domain Protection: Security of email domains.

System Hardening and Resilience: Securing and resilience of infrastructures.

Main Missions and Responsibilities

Support security coordinators for application perimeters in considering specific infrastructure issues, dependencies, and constraints.

Act as a transverse referent for on-premise infrastructure security topics.

Promote coordination between Infrastructure, Security, Architecture, Production, and Business teams.

Ensure security requirements are properly considered for infrastructures.

Promote a pragmatic approach to security, compatible with operational constraints.

Support teams in integrating security best practices throughout the lifecycle of services and projects.

Deliver security recommendations to teams and domain managers.

Contribute to technical and organizational arbitration.

Support stakeholders in finding solutions that reconcile risk management, infrastructure resilience, and service continuity.

Participate in risk reduction on critical infrastructures.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of the security maturity level.

Ensure balance between security objectives, operational constraints, and service continuity issues.

Expertise Sought

On-Premise Infrastructure Security

Deep understanding of the Group's infrastructure security challenges.

Transverse vision of various technical domains: networks, identity and directories, DNS, digital certificates, PKI, email domain protection, system hardening and resilience.

Information System Security and Continuity

Ability to consider risk management, infrastructure resilience, and service continuity issues.

Coordination and Support

Ability to act as a transverse referent for technical and business teams.

Ability to promote security requirements and recommendations while considering operational constraints.

Contribution to technical and organizational arbitration.

Dashboards: Production of dashboards.

Profile Sought

Experienced profile in the field of information system security and continuity.
