Mission Context

We are looking for a senior WinDev Application Architect, with concrete technical expertise on client-server applications developed with PC SOFT technologies, to work on two existing business applications in a Belgian institutional environment.

The mission combines architecture audit and documentation, maintainability security, risk analysis, and corrective and evolutionary maintenance. The consultant must quickly become autonomous on the existing application landscape and be able to provide technical documentation usable by internal teams.

Main Responsibilities

• Audit and application architecture: analyze the existing system, map components, HFSQL databases, interfaces, flows, synchronizations, document management, and security mechanisms.
• Technical documentation: formalize the architecture, dependencies, operational prerequisites, deployment, backup, and restore procedures.
• Risk analysis: identify risks related to data, security, technological dependencies, and maintainability; propose a prioritized action plan.
• Maintenance and evolution: diagnose incidents, correct anomalies, develop evolutions validated by the business units, perform tests, and support deployments.
• Knowledge transfer: enable internal teams or a future consultant to take over maintenance under good conditions.
