Expert Fullstack Engineer

Description

For our client in the banking sector, we are looking for an experienced Fullstack Engineer to further develop and support five business-critical eBanking applications. Together with an agile team, you will shape the digital customer interface and develop secure, performant, and resilient services. Modern architectural approaches and development methods such as Pair/Mob Programming and Test-Driven Development will be used.

• Further development and support of five business-critical applications in the eBanking environment
• Development of backend services with Java, Kotlin, Spring, and JPA as well as frontend components with Angular
• Further development of the software architecture for internet-accessible services
• Working with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases as well as Kubernetes
• Implementation of modern architectural principles such as Microservices and Domain-Driven Design
• Ensuring security, resilience, observability, and performance
• Quality assurance through Test-Driven Development as well as Pair and Mob Programming
• Active participation in a self-organized DevOps team according to SAFe and Scrum

Requirements

• Many years of experience in software development and in the DevOps environment at a Senior Expert level, corresponding to at least 12 years
• Very good knowledge of Java and Angular as well as Spring, JPA, and Kotlin
• Very good knowledge of Oracle and PostgreSQL
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Experience in the software architecture of internet-accessible services
• Familiarity with modern architectural approaches such as Microservices and Domain-Driven Design
• Enjoyment of collaborative software development and agile working methods
• Strong teamwork skills, initiative, and self-organization
• German language skills at C2 level and English language skills at at least B2 level
