Always looking for new talent, we wish to integrate an IBM MQ expert into our teams to work on one of our client projects.

The context?

Within a team responsible for middleware platforms, you will contribute to the operation and evolution of IBM MQ environments on open systems. You will work on critical infrastructures, in collaboration with system, network, application, and production teams.

Your missions?

• Administer IBM MQ environments on open systems and ensure their operational maintenance.
• Install, configure, and evolve queue managers, queues, channels, and transmission mechanisms.
• Monitor platform availability and performance, analyze alerts, and anticipate saturation risks.
• Diagnose incidents and implement sustainable solutions, in coordination with the relevant teams.
• Automate recurring administration tasks and contribute to the improvement of operating procedures.
• Participate in production deployment operations, version upgrades, and business continuity or recovery plans.
• Document architectures, configurations, and technical procedures, and share your expertise with the team.

Requirements

With higher education in IT or systems, you have significant experience in middleware administration and master IBM MQ in an open environment. You are comfortable in demanding production contexts and know how to contribute to the reliability of critical services.

Technical skills:

Your Assets:

• Expertise on the IBM MQ product in an Open environment
• Mastery of versions 8, versions 9, and later.
• Mastery of MQ cluster solutions.
• Setting up alerting under Zabbix and creating monitoring dashboards via Grafana
• Implementation in DEVOPS mode of Open MQ solutions.
• Experience integrating MQ solutions in high transactional volume.
• Mastery of Java Applications consumed by MQ.
• Scripting, Ansible automation, Json, Shell for installation and configuration of MQ solutions.
• Network knowledge (LAN, WAN, Bandwidth...), ability to use tools like Wire-Shark
• Fluent English required as IBM support is in English.
• Teamwork in multisite teams across different regions of France.
• Ability to grasp complex problems and propose solutions capable of supporting high volumes.
• Autonomy in contributing to a project or resolving an incident
