Project overview

The Context

Our client, a major international distribution group, is strengthening its EPM team within the finance department. You will take over the management, evolutionary maintenance, and build of two key financial planning applications, both on Oracle EPM Planning:

You will take over from an incumbent consultant, with an organized handover.

Your Missions

• A budget construction and monitoring application for the group's service entities and holdings;
• An application dedicated to monitoring investment projects (CAPEX).
• Build & Evolutions (core of the mission)
• Requirements gathering and scoping: analyze the needs of the Finance and Management Control teams, then translate them into technical and functional specifications.
• Design and development: design and implement evolutions in Oracle EPM Planning (business rules, forms, dimensions, scripts).
• Testing and deployment: manage unit tests and business acceptance tests (UAT), then manage production releases.
• Cross-functional projects: evolve the models to support the transformation of budgeting and investment processes.
• Support & RUN (as backup)
• Ensure service continuity at the second level during critical periods (closings, budget campaigns).
• Diagnose and resolve level 2 and 3 technical or functional incidents.
• Optimize application processing times and performance.
• Documentation & Handover
• Take over the history and technical mapping of the domain during the handover with the outgoing consultant.
• Keep technical documentation, flow mapping, and user guides up to date.
