Project overview

The municipality of Maasdriel (approx. 26,000 inhabitants) is located in the beautiful river landscape of the Bommelerwaard. Due to its central location in the Netherlands, on the A2, the railway, and the rivers Maas and Waal, Maasdriel offers many possibilities. Maasdriel consists of 11 characteristic villages, each with its own dynamics. The core values of the municipality of Maasdriel are Courage, Together, and Pride.

• You are an important discussion partner for sports clubs, working on housing issues among other things and thinking about future-proof facilities.
• You develop policy for sports facilities and translate this into concrete frameworks and implementation agreements.
• You are responsible for ensuring that multi-year maintenance plans are drawn up and collaborate with our colleagues from Realization & Management, among others.
• You deal with issues related to rental agreements, long lease, building rights, and other usage and ownership issues, and involve legal expertise where necessary.
• You advise and support boards with issues related to operation, management, and future-proofing.
• You work on smart combinations of functions within the facilities.
• You develop a clear vision and policy frameworks for village halls and multifunctional facilities together with involved parties.
• The 'Bring Your Own Device' principle applies to this assignment. The candidate will use their own IT resources (laptop, phone, and associated accessories) for the execution of the assignment.
• Demonstrable completed education at a minimum HBO bachelor level
• Minimum of 5 years of demonstrable work experience in the last 10 years in the role of expert or advisor for social real estate within a municipality
• Demonstrable work experience with updating policy frameworks and rental policy for social real estate, including pricing
• Demonstrable work experience with board advisory services
• You have a demonstrable completed education in real estate, public administration, social sciences, or a comparable relevant field at a minimum HBO bachelor or WO level
• You have demonstrable work experience in the field of social real estate within a municipal organization
• You have demonstrable work experience in conducting discussions, weighing interests, and coordinating with associations, users, social organizations, and other stakeholders within social real estate
• You have demonstrable work experience with government policy, relevant laws and regulations, and procedures related to social real estate
