Job description
Seeking an experienced SRE/Platform Ops expert to enhance and operate a software factory platform built on AWS, Kubernetes, and GitOps. The role involves designing and implementing technical evolutions, improving resilience, security, and observability, and automating recurring operations.
Project overview
Mission Context
The team provides and operates the software factory chain used by approximately 250 agile teams: source code management, CI/CD, quality, artifacts, automation, and testing platforms.
Housed on AWS, the platform is primarily based on Kubernetes, GitOps, and infrastructure as code. The team ensures its operational maintenance, support, security, evolution, and cost optimization.
The controlled use of artificial intelligence is part of the client's work practices. Authorized AI tools are provided by the company and must be used to increase efficiency, improve analysis, accelerate problem-solving, and contribute to the quality of deliverables.
The consultant works in a controlled banking environment. They adhere to security, change management, major incident, and operational risk processes, as well as rules applicable to the workstation and authorized tools.
Strengthen the team in the operation, evolution, and continuous improvement of the Forge.
Beyond operational maintenance, the consultant designs and implements technical evolutions, improves the resilience, security, and observability of services, automates recurring operations, and contributes to performance and cost optimization.
They participate in technical choices, prepare and secure changes, handle incidents and their root causes, and advance the team's operational practices.
They use the AI tools authorized by the client to carry out their missions more effectively, while respecting security, confidentiality, and traceability requirements.
Active contribution to the collective is expected: documentation, experience sharing, knowledge transfer, post-incident feedback, and improvement proposals.
Finally, they maintain a professional and constructive service relationship with all client development teams.
Technical Foundation: Public Cloud
