Job description
Seeking a Senior DevOps Platform Engineer to enhance and evolve a software factory platform hosted on AWS, primarily based on Kubernetes and GitOps. The role involves designing, implementing, and automating technical improvements, ensuring platform resilience, security, and cost optimization.
Project overview
Context
The team provides and operates the software factory chain used by approximately 250 agile teams: source code management, CI/CD, quality, artifacts, automation, and testing platforms. Hosted on AWS, the platform relies mainly on Kubernetes, GitOps, and infrastructure as code. The team ensures its operational maintenance, support, security, evolution, and cost optimization. The controlled use of artificial intelligence is part of the work practices: authorized AI tools are provided by the company and must be used in compliance with security, confidentiality, and traceability requirements.
The consultant works in a controlled banking environment and adheres to processes for security, change management, major incidents, and operational risk.
Missions
Objectives and expected deliverables: AWS/Kubernetes expertise, proposals and implementation of architectural improvements, autonomy in incident diagnosis, mastery of GitOps/IaC, management of updates/migrations/backups/restorations, documentation and sharing, service culture. FinOps experience is appreciated.

- Strengthen the team in the operation, evolution, and continuous improvement of the platform.
- Design and implement technical evolutions, improve the resilience, security, and observability of services.
- Automate recurring operations and contribute to performance and cost optimization.
- Participate in technical choices, prepare and secure changes, handle incidents, and analyze root causes until recovery.
- Document, share experience, transfer knowledge, and produce post-incident feedback.
- Maintain a professional and constructive service relationship with client development teams.
- Use authorized artificial intelligence tools effectively and responsibly.
