Finance Consultant Finance & Supply Chain (FSCM)

Project overview

For our client, we are looking for a Finance Consultant Finance & Supply Chain (FSCM) starting in October.

Responsibilities

• Finance processes in Dynamics 365 FSCM: You have in-depth experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management in the Finance area and are familiar with the central processes related to General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payments, Bank Management, Fixed Assets, Taxes, Intercompany, Cost Accounting, Budgeting, and Month-end and Year-end closing.
• Consulting & Process Understanding: You analyze existing financial processes at the client's site, identify optimization potential, and translate business requirements into practical Dynamics 365 FSCM solutions. You confidently advise business departments from requirements gathering, through fit-gap analysis, to standard implementation.
• Configuration & Solution Design: You configure Dynamics 365 Finance in the Finance area, e.g., General Ledger, Chart of Accounts, Financial Dimensions, Posting Profiles, Tax Logic, Payment Formats, Bank Accounts, Workflows, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets processes, as well as relevant Finance setups.
• End-to-End Projects: You support implementation, migration, and optimization projects from analysis through workshops, solution design, and conception to testing, training, go-live, and hypercare. Ideally, you have already successfully supported several Dynamics 365 Finance, AX, or FSCM projects in the Finance context.
• Interfaces & Data Quality: You understand the interdependencies between Finance, Procurement, Sales, Warehouse, Production, Projects, and Reporting. You can also systematically capture requirements for interfaces, data migrations, Dual Write, Power Platform, Reporting, and adjacent system landscapes and coordinate them with development teams.
• Customer Focus & Communication: You work confidently with Accounts Payable, Controlling, Procurement, IT, and Management, explain complex Finance and ERP relationships understandably, and confidently moderate workshops – even in presales, discovery, or decision-making situations.
