As a financial advisor, you will support the Finance team of the municipality of Buren.
Profile of the suited interim professional:
- Advising budget holders and budget managers on financial issues
- Explaining the financial consequences of executive advice
- Advising at both operational and strategic levels, with a focus on service delivery and the spatial domain
- Contributing to the creation of planning and control products (P&C products)
- Experience with financial advice within a municipal organization
- Knowledge of the municipal budget cycle, P&C processes, and financial reporting
- Experience with the systems Key2Financiën, Cognos, and Lias
- Able to advise at both operational and strategic levels and to independently bear responsibility
- Good command of Excel
