We are looking for an insurance accounting specialist for fixed income instruments for a long-term mission with our client in the banking/finance sector in the Paris region. The position is not front office. It focuses on the reliability of accounting data, exception processing, and continuous process improvement.
Your missions:
Partial on-site presence is expected. You will join Ingéniance on a permanent executive contract and become part of our community of finance and insurance experts.

Profile sought
You have higher education in finance, accounting, or insurance (BAC+4/5) and solid experience in accounting for interest rate instruments (fixed income) in banking, asset management, or insurance. You have mastered IFRS and French GAAP; knowledge of other GAAP frameworks is a plus. You are comfortable with Excel for large volumes of data. Professional English is required. Rigorous and analytical, you know how to investigate an anomaly and coordinate its resolution with different stakeholders.

- Control and verify accounting entries for bonds (sovereign, corporate, municipal, perpetual, floating rate, zero-coupon, fixed to float).
- Validate book value and book yield calculations, as well as premium and discount amortization.
- Verify unrealized and realized gains or losses (UGL / RGL).
- Perform daily or periodic controls on positions: accrued coupons, interest, yields, amortization.
- Apply IFRS and GAAP principles for classifying, valuing, and presenting interest rate instruments.
- Reconcile the accounting framework with internal tools and external reference data.
- Identify, document, and analyze anomalies, then manage their resolution with stakeholders.
