Project overview

Dear AI Developers,

For one of our long-standing clients, we are looking for an experienced AI Engineer / Voice AI Agent Developer (m/f/x) to further develop an already functional AI phone assistant for veterinary practices.

The existing MVP can already handle incoming calls, answer questions, manage appointments, and take callback and prescription requests. The goal is to develop it into a scalable, reliably operable product.

Your Profile and Your Tasks

›› Experience in the development of Voice AI Agents and AI applications with Speech to Text, Text to Speech, and LLMs

›› Very good knowledge of Python, FastAPI, Docker, and API architectures, as well as experience with cloud infrastructure

›› Experience with SIP, real-time voice processing, and telephony integrations (ideally with LiveKit)

›› Further development of the existing MVP into a production-ready system with a focus on stability, scaling, and monitoring

›› Implementation of multi-tenancy, location management, configurations, as well as data protection and authorization concepts

›› Experience with Azure OpenAI, AssemblyAI, and Gradium is an advantage

›› Independent, pragmatic way of working, strong communication skills, and an open mindset, as well as enjoyment of close collaboration with the product and development team

›› Duration: 6 months with an option for extension

›› Location: 100% Remote
