Currently, I am looking for a freelance Closing Expert according to HGB & IFRS (m/f/d) for my client.

• Support in the preparation and successful execution of the annual financial statements according to IFRS
• Participation in consolidation activities in a complex IFRS environment
• Support in processing and coordinating inquiries from the audit
• Participation in the reconciliation and aggregation of relevant information from various specialist departments
• Project-based support in structuring and optimizing consolidation processes
• Assistance in ensuring proper IFRS-compliant closing documentation
• Participation in the evaluation and selection of potential consolidation tools (no final tool decision within the project scope)

Nice to have

• Experience on the auditor side
• Experience in financial accounting with an IFRS reference
• Experience in selecting and implementing consolidation tools
• Experience in process landscapes that are not or only slightly automated

Utilization: From 30 hours/week, preferably full-time

By arrangement in the greater Schleswig area | Rest Remote

Must-Haves:

• Profound experience in IFRS consolidation
• Very good knowledge of HGB and IFRS
• Demonstrable experience in the annual closing environment
• Hands-on mentality and operational implementation strength
• Experience in coordinating and processing auditor inquiries
• Confident handling of complex consolidation processes
