As part of the IT team, you will play an important role in bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that business requirements are translated into clear functional solutions that support the organisation's strategic objectives.As a Functional Analyst, you will work closely with stakeholders, technical teams and area product owners to analyse business processes, define requirements and prioritise the product backlog.

You will be involved throughout the development lifecycle, from requirement gathering and process design to testing and validation. Combining analytical thinking with a pragmatic, hands-on approach, you will help deliver solutions that improve business processes, enhance the user experience and create measurable business value.Your responsibilities

• Analyse business needs and translate them into clear, structured functional requirements and process flows.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams and area product owners to ensure a shared understanding of requirements and objectives.
• Contribute to defining and prioritising the product backlog in line with the product vision and strategic business goals.
• Translate business requirements into user stories, use cases and functional specifications.
• Support development teams by providing clear requirements, acceptance criteria and expected outcomes.
• Define and support testing activities by preparing test scenarios and validating that solutions meet business expectations.
• Ensure that technical solutions deliver tangible business value and contribute to an improved user experience.
• Identify opportunities to optimise business processes, enhance software functionality and improve ways of working.
• Facilitate communication between business and IT, ensuring alignment throughout the development lifecycle.
• Contribute to an agile way of working and support continuous improvement across the organisation.
• Proactively identify challenges, challenge requirements where necessary and propose practical solutions.
• Take ownership of assigned responsibilities and actively contribute ideas to improve products and processes.You have:
• At least five years of relevant experience in business analysis or functional analysis.
• A strong understanding of end-to-end business processes and requirements analysis.
• Experience in a financial role within a corporate environment, which is particularly valuable for this position.
• A solid understanding of agile principles, user stories, use cases and process design.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A structured, pragmatic and proactive approach, combined with the ability to work independently and take initiative.What the client offers
