Project overview

For one of our clients in the rail vehicle technology sector, we are looking for an experienced Industrial Electrician for a long-term project. The focus is on electrical testing, commissioning, as well as troubleshooting and fault rectification on rail vehicles. An electrician with a completed electrical engineering apprenticeship and appropriate switching authorization is sought. Experience in the rail vehicle sector is desirable, but not a mandatory requirement.

Position: Industrial Electrician – Electrical Testing & Commissioning

Responsibilities

• Electrical testing and commissioning of rail vehicles
• Testing of electrical systems, assemblies, wiring, and functions using circuit diagrams
• Performing troubleshooting, fault analysis, and rectification of electrical faults
• Carrying out and documenting electrical measurements, functional, and safety tests
• Checking the proper functioning of electrical systems and components

• Completed apprenticeship as an Industrial Electrician, Electrician, Electronics Technician, or in a comparable electrical engineering profession
• Valid switching authorization for the intended activities
• Confident handling of electrical circuit diagrams and technical documentation
• Experience with electrical measuring and testing equipment
• Knowledge in electrical troubleshooting, testing, and fault rectification
• Ideally, experience in the electrical commissioning and testing of rail vehicles or comparable industrial plants
• Good German language skills for collaboration and on-site documentation
• Independent and structured way of working
• Willingness for full-time on-site deployment in the Greater Berlin area
• A completed electrician apprenticeship and the required switching authorization are sufficient to apply. Experience in the rail vehicle sector is welcome, but not a must.
