Freelance Operational Finance & Accounting Manager

Hello everyone,

I am currently looking for an interim Operational Finance & Accounting Manager (m/f/d) for one of my clients.

Responsibilities

Must-Haves:

• Project-based preparation of commercial and tax balance sheets according to HGB
• Preparation of annual financial statements for companies in several European countries
• Participation in intercompany reconciliations
• Support in the setup and further development of accounting structures within a growing corporate group
• Project-based collaboration with auditors as part of audit engagements
• Support in the introduction of consolidated financial statements
• Participation in reporting topics in the finance environment
• Support in the analysis and optimization of existing closing and accounting processes
• Project-based support of consolidation topics and possible consolidation solutions
• Support in the area of fixed asset accounting
• Participation in liquidity management
• Support with related issues in the controlling environment
• Several years of professional experience in accounting, ideally at least 10 years
• Very good knowledge of preparing annual financial statements according to HGB
• Experience with international accounting structures
• Experience with intercompany reconciliations
• Knowledge of consolidated financial statements and consolidation environment
• Very good DATEV knowledge
• Hands-on mentality and enjoyment in further developing existing structures
• Experience working with auditors
• Experience in high-growth companies or start-up structures
