Job description
Experienced freelance SAP Basis Consultant needed for ongoing administration, monitoring, and support of the SAP landscape, focusing on S/4HANA On-Premise and SAP BTP/Cloud integrations. The role involves supporting an S/4HANA upgrade and managing cloud connections.
Project overview
For the support of our SAP landscape, we are looking for an experienced freelancer starting immediately. The focus is on operational SAP Basis operations as well as support and administration at the application level. Additionally, the role will handle tasks related to SAP BTP and our cloud connections. The support of operating systems and databases will be handled by the service provider. We are currently performing an upgrade to S/4HANA 2025 FPS01.
Responsibilities
Ongoing administration, monitoring, error analysis, and troubleshooting, as well as technical coordination with the hosting service provider.
Support with application-side Basis tasks during the ongoing upgrade to S/4HANA 2025 FPS01.
Technical support for interfaces and connections, including certificate management and SAP Cloud Integration (CPI).
Administration and technical support of our SAP cloud services and their connection to the on-premise landscape.
Support with authorization assignment via SIVIS, including SoD management to avoid segregation of duties conflicts. This area is not a primary focus.
Requirements
At least 5 years of experience as an SAP Consultant.
In-depth practical experience in SAP Basis operations, especially in the administration of S/4HANA on-premise systems at the application level.
Experience with SAP upgrades and collaboration with external hosting service providers.
Practical knowledge of SAP BTP, SAP Cloud Integration, and connecting cloud services to on-premise systems.
Independent, structured way of working and the ability to handle operational tasks as well as conceptual issues.
Knowledge of SIVIS and SoD management is an advantage.
