Freelance SAP O2C Functional Process Consultant - FI-AR, SD & Analytics (f/m/d)

Dear Network,

For a leading global company in the music and entertainment industry based in Berlin, we are currently looking for an experienced freelance SAP O2C Functional Process Consultant (f/m/d).

In the context of ongoing process harmonization and digital transformation, the primary focus of this project is the implementation of the existing blueprint for Accounts Receivable (FI-AR) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes, including deep integration with SAP SD as well as reporting and analytics setup in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). If you bring strong functional expertise in SAP FI-AR, SD integration, and SAC, and thrive acting as a hands-on bridge between business and IT teams, this is an exciting long-term project.

Responsibilities

• Implementation of the blueprint for accounts receivable and related Order-to-Cash processes (SAP FI in combination with SAP SD)
• Functional design, testing, validation, and documentation of accounts receivable processes, incoming payments, clearing, reconciliation, and billing/financial integration
• Analysis and optimization of existing processes, ensuring alignment with SAP standard functionalities and business requirements
• Design, development, and validation of relevant reports and dashboards in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), including definition of business requirements, KPIs, and reporting logic
• Functional design, integration, and testing of interfaces connecting SAP with upstream systems
• Implementation of accounts receivable, incoming payments, and O2C processes, including functional issue resolution, stakeholder coordination, and change management activities

Requirements

• Excellent functional knowledge of SAP FI (accounts receivable, incoming payments, clearing, and reconciliation) and SAP SD (billing processes and integration with FI)
• Strong understanding of standard SAP business processes and end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes
• Proven hands-on experience in functional process design, blueprint implementation, and optimization of accounts receivable and payment processes
• Practical experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), including report and dashboard development as well as validation of reporting requirements
• Solid understanding of SAP system interfaces, process integration, and automation opportunities
• Ability to independently analyze business requirements, identify process gaps, develop functional solutions, and support testing and implementation
• Strong ownership mentality, structured way of working, and ability to drive implementation tasks independently
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with experience working across business and IT teams
• Fluent in written and spoken English
