The organization is working on modernizing its HR landscape. Within a complex SAP environment, SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central is being implemented as the central system for employee and organizational data. SAP ECC HCM remains operational as a receiving system and supports existing processes such as Payroll, Time Management, and other HR functionalities.

As a SAP HCM Technical Analyst / ABAP Developer, you will be responsible for the technical analysis, development, and adaptation of the existing SAP ECC HCM environment. You will ensure that current HR functionalities, integrations, and custom developments continue to function when Employee Central becomes the master for HR data.

You combine in-depth technical SAP HCM knowledge with hands-on ABAP development and expertise in data replication and integrations.

• Performing technical analyses of the existing SAP ECC HCM environment, with a focus on Personnel Administration (PA) and Organizational Management (OM).
• Analyzing existing ABAP developments, interfaces, workflows, authorizations, and technical dependencies.
• Translating functional requirements into clear technical specifications and development solutions.
• Designing and implementing the technical integration where SuccessFactors Employee Central becomes the master data system and SAP ECC HCM functions as the receiving system.
• Configuring and developing within SAP HCM Business Integration Builder (BIB) for data mapping, transformation, and replication.
• Analyzing and adapting existing PA and OM processes, infotypes, workflows, interfaces, and reports.
• Implementing checks to prevent conflicts between HR master data in Employee Central and SAP ECC HCM.
• Analyzing and resolving technical issues related to data replication, integrations, and data consistency.
• Supporting technical testing, integration testing, data migration, and reconciliation.
• Participating in cutover, go-live, and hypercare to ensure the continuity of existing SAP HR processes.
• Extensive technical experience with SAP ECC HCM, primarily Personnel Administration (PA) and Organizational Management (OM).
• Strong hands-on ABAP development skills, including debugging, enhancements, BAdIs, user exits, interfaces, and custom developments.
• Practical experience with SAP HCM Business Integration Builder (BIB), including configuration, data mapping, transformation, replication, and error analysis.
• Good technical knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and its associated data structures.
• Experience in creating technical specifications and translating functional requirements into development solutions.
• Experience in adapting existing SAP HCM functionalities within a master-slave architecture.
• Strong experience with technical impact analyses, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting.

• Remote work: Hybrid, 3 days a week in the office
