Project overview

For a demanding infrastructure project in the field of high and extra-high voltage grids, we are looking for experienced Site Managers (m/f/d) starting April 2027 to support a substation project.

The focus is on the independent leadership and coordination of construction and project processes in the environment of 110 kV and 380 kV facilities. Experienced experts from the energy infrastructure sector with practical experience in substation projects are sought.

Responsibilities

• Independent coordination and supervision of construction execution in substation projects in the 110 kV and 380 kV range
• Management and coordination of executing subcontractors and involved trades
• Monitoring of all construction processes regarding deadlines, quality, and technical requirements
• Ensuring compliance with applicable safety regulations and project-specific TenneT guidelines
• Monitoring construction progress and early identification and resolution of deviations
• Coordination with project management, the client, and other project participants
• Participation in regular site meetings and documentation of construction progress
• Accompanying construction execution until successful project completion

Requirements

Important: Only experienced Site Managers who are already active in the energy and substation industry and can provide corresponding reference projects are sought.

• Several years of professional experience as a Site Manager in the field of energy infrastructure and substation construction
• Sound practical experience with 110 kV and/or 380 kV substation projects
• Very good knowledge of the processes and requirements on substation construction sites
• Ideally, experience with projects according to TenneT guidelines
• Experience in leading and coordinating subcontractors and various trades
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
• Strong communication skills and confident demeanor towards clients and project participants
• Very good German language skills
