Freelance Social Media Manager for Strategy, Content & Growth Wanted

Project overview

Project Goal: Building and further developing a strong, vibrant, and growing social media presence based on over 30 years of existing content on the topics of relationships, personal development, and inner change. We are not looking for a pure content producer, but a freelancer who thinks strategically about social media and actively shapes it.

Responsibilities

• Joint further development of the social media strategy and existing formats
• Monitoring trends, platform changes, and new formats, and their sensible application
• Adapting existing content from podcasts, coaching sessions, videos, audios, books, and texts for social media (Reels, Posts, Stories, Hooks, recurring content formats)
• Regular performance analysis and derivation of measures to improve story views, interaction, reach, and community engagement
• Editing and processing of video content
• Use of AI tools, automations, and efficient workflows
• Contributing own ideas as well as quickly picking up and implementing ideas from the team
• Flexible reaction to short-term topics and spontaneous content

Requirements

• Genuine enthusiasm for social media
• Demonstrable professional experience in managing social media channels with concrete examples and ideally measurable results
• Strategic thinking and understanding of numbers (e.g., understanding of hooks, reach, retention)
• Proficiency in video editing (CapCut, Premiere, or comparable) and in handling social media and AI tools
• Independent, reliable, and structured way of working combined with flexibility
• Proactive work without exclusively waiting for briefings
• Genuine interest in the topics of relationships, personal development, and inner processes
