Project overview

My client, a leading partner for energy suppliers and grid operators in the field of grid infrastructure, is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Site Manager for Electrical Engineering for challenging construction projects in the Müllrose / Frankfurt (Oder) area.

The project starts on a freelance basis for 6 months with the clear goal and prospect of subsequent permanent employment (Freelance to Perm).

The focus is on the independent management of electrical engineering projects – especially in the low and medium voltage sector – economical and timely execution, and operational leadership of the teams on site. A hands-on Site Manager is sought who takes on technical responsibility, structures construction site processes, and acts as a reliable point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Independent management and execution of electrical engineering construction projects from work preparation through to execution and project completion
• Ensuring economical, high-quality, and timely execution on construction sites
• Personnel planning and technical leadership of assembly teams (own staff, temporary workers, and subcontractors)
• Dispatch and coordination of required equipment, special tools, and construction materials
• Construction site monitoring, preparation of measurements, and complete project documentation, always with a view to budget and milestones
• Consistent adherence to and enforcement of all quality and HSEQ guidelines as well as occupational safety regulations
• Competent point of contact for clients, grid operators, planners, suppliers, and internal departments
• Identification of deviations in the construction process, initiation of corrective measures, and active promotion of on-site optimizations

• Completed training in electrical engineering (e.g., Electronics Technician / Electrician) with further training as a Master Craftsman, Technician, or completed degree in electrical engineering or comparable practical qualification
• Professional experience in site management or construction supervision of electrical installations or supply networks, ideally in the low and medium voltage sector
• Sound technical understanding of electrical grid infrastructures and construction site processes
• Experience in coordinating own teams as well as managing subcontractors and sub-subcontractors
• Assertiveness, hands-on mentality, and solution-oriented approach on the construction site
• Confident use of common MS Office applications
• Driving license class B (class BE desirable)
• Fluent German language skills for coordination with clients, authorities, and trades
• Willingness to start with a 6-month freelance model and then switch to permanent employment

Budget: max. €600 / day (or max. €75 / hour all-in)
