Freelancer - QC / LIMS / Master Data Management | Pharma

Project overview

For a current project at an internationally active pharmaceutical company, we are seeking an experienced freelancer (m/f/d) in the areas of QC, laboratory IT, and master data management on short notice.

As part of the project, a digital planning system for quality control (QC) will be gradually rolled out in further laboratory areas.

The goal is to ensure master data quality, harmonize existing data structures, and support ongoing system maintenance and optimization.

Responsibilities

Maintenance, updating, and harmonization of master data within a digital QC planning system

Creation and adjustment of tests, materials, test scopes, test times, and user qualifications

Quality assurance in master data entry and data migration during system rollout

Processing of user requirements and system adjustments via a ticket system

Support with the configuration and optimization of the laboratory IT system

Identification, documentation, and coordination of system error resolution

Ensuring uniform and laboratory-appropriate data structures

Support for users with technical and process-related questions

Coordination and alignment between laboratory areas, IT, and external service providers

Support with process implementation and conducting user training

Requirements

Experience with digital laboratory planning systems or LIMS systems in a QC or laboratory environment

In-depth knowledge of master data management and handling complex data structures

Experience with the configuration, administration, or support of laboratory IT systems

Proficient use of Excel-based data entry templates

Good understanding of GxP requirements and quality processes in the pharmaceutical environment

Experience with ticket management and processing user requirements

Structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working

Strong communication skills and service orientation

Experience with system rollouts and process optimizations is an advantage

Fluent German and good English skills
