Full Stack Developer - Team Wilbur

Project overview

As a senior Full Stack Developer, you will independently work on the further development of the business-critical application Wilbur within Team Wilbur at Schiphol.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Building new functionalities within the Wilbur application with TypeScript, React, and Node.js
• Developing technical solutions for operational processes at the airport
• Implementing adjustments for the Regulated Ground Handling Model (RGM)
• Delivering functionalities related to Regievoeren Havendienst
• Renewing the Gate Management System (GMS) for handlers
• Guiding the migration to GetFeedback
• Creating real-time functionalities for PCA and FPU availability
• Developing bus data functionalities for handlers
• Providing technical migrations to OpenShift and GitHub Enterprise
• Performing quality checks and resolving technical issues
• Integrating new functionalities into the existing Wilbur environment
• At least 5 years of work experience in the role of Full Stack Developer
• Demonstrable knowledge of TypeScript, React, and Node.js
• Experience with building scalable software solutions
• Knowledge of software architecture and modern development methods
• Experience with API development and system integrations
• Familiarity with container platforms such as OpenShift, Kubernetes, or similar solutions
• Familiarity with CI/CD environments and GitHub
• Experience with technical migrations in business-critical environments
• Strong analytical skills to translate user requirements into technical solutions
• Excellent communication skills
• Independent and results-oriented work style
• Background within operational, logistical, or business-critical environments is recommended
