Fullstack Developer Java 80-100%

Project overview

For a software development project in the Bern region, we are looking for an experienced Fullstack Developer Java with in-depth knowledge of JSE/JEE and Spring technologies.

You bring several years of professional experience in the development of Spring-based backend solutions and have worked as a Lead Developer or Software Architect at least once in the last four years. Your tasks include the development and further development of fullstack applications in the Java environment, the conception and implementation of backend components with Spring, as well as the development, integration, and testing of SOAP and REST interfaces. You will perform interface tests with SoapUI, participate in architectural decisions, and ensure a maintainable software structure.

We expect at least 5 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer with Java and JSE/JEE or JSE/Spring, at least 3 years of project experience with Spring as the primary backend technology used, and at least 1 year of practical professional experience with SoapUI and REST technologies. A university degree in Computer Science or Business Informatics is required. German should be your native language or you should be fluent; good language skills in English and French (B2) are necessary.

Experience with Kotlin and projects for public institutions is advantageous. The workload is 80-100%, with at least 2 days per week on-site. Remote work is only possible within Switzerland. The assignment is limited to several years.
