Fullstack Developer Next.js / Node.js

Project overview

Integrated into an existing development team and reporting to an IT project manager, the resource will participate in the various phases of an application development project (analysis, design, development, testing, acceptance, deployment, support, and maintenance).

The projects addressed will vary in nature (creation from scratch and/or takeover and improvement of an existing application, development and automation of scripts, support and maintenance activities) as well as by client or business area addressed (business areas or support functions within Continental).

Particular attention will be paid to the quality of the code written, its robustness and maintainability, the ergonomics of the interfaces (UX/UI), and the performance of the applications developed.

By nature curious, the resource must be able to work autonomously and/or in a team. They must also demonstrate creativity and be proactive in addressing the various topics submitted to them.

Projects are organized following Agile principles (sprints, daily meetings, and weekly code reviews).

Technical Aptitudes:

Education: Computer Science Engineer (initial training)

Years of Experience: minimum 8 years with equivalent technologies

Technical Skills:

• Next.js for the front-end
• Bun/Node.js for the back-end
• relational databases (Oracle 19c),
• Linux environment (Red Hat 8.3.1),
• advanced knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and principles and continuous improvement to be applied in web application development
• development and consumption of REST APIs
• mobile-first development
• development and automation of scripts (PS, CRON)
• advanced knowledge of UX/UI concepts and principles, knowledge of digital accessibility and digital ergonomics concepts through past experience
• Languages: TS, JS, HTML, CSS, PL/SQL, PHP, Linux command lines...
• Technical Stack: Linux, Node.js/Bun, Next.js, Oracle, Apache, GitHub, Jira/Confluence...
• Concepts: UX/UI, Digital Ergonomics, Cybersecurity, Mobile-first Development, REST APIs, Digital Accessibility
