We are looking for a fully qualified lawyer with expertise in European type-approval law and public law to advise on safety, emissions, and compliance issues, and to handle international legal disputes.

Introduction & Summary:
We are looking for a fully qualified lawyer (m/f/d) with in-depth knowledge of European type-approval law and public law. This position requires extensive experience in advising on safety, emissions, and compliance issues, as well as the ability to explain complex legal content in an understandable manner. You will play a key role in handling international legal disputes and shaping legal frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Advising management and colleagues worldwide on safety, emissions, conformity, and public law issues.
- Preparing legal opinions on product law issues.
- Communicating complex legal content to the specialist departments.
- Handling international legal disputes with high financial significance.
- Monitoring and analyzing developments in legislation and case law.
- Structuring legal relationships by drafting, reviewing, and adapting contracts.
Requirements
- Completed law studies with two state examinations.
- Ideally, knowledge of product safety, emissions, and conformity-related issues.
- Analytical and structured working style.
- Good MS Office user skills.
- Fluent German and English language skills.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of additional foreign languages.
