Functional Application Architect - AT/Orléans

Urgent search for a Functional / Application Architect to work within a complex IT system environment, in the banking and securities sector.

CONTEXT

Within the Functional Architecture & Prospective department, the mission is part of a cross-functional approach aimed at ensuring the coherence, relevance, and scalability of the information system.

The department also carries out knowledge sharing and internal training activities around the overall IT system architecture, design methods, and data modeling.

Profile sought

• Supporting projects and IT system evolutions to frame target architectures and solutions;
• Mapping the IT system and maintaining associated repositories (applications, software, flows);
• Defining and disseminating architectural principles;
• Coordinating and federating different teams around architectural roadmaps;
• Technological watch and identification of new approaches likely to evolve IT usage;
• Ad-hoc expertise missions, particularly in the context of responding to calls for tender or integration projects.

Responsibilities

The mission involves daily interactions with numerous teams, mainly IT but also business teams.

Work environment

Profile and skills sought

• updating the IT system mapping and the various associated repositories (applications, flows), with possible interventions in the CMDB;
• identifying evolutions impacting the repositories (additions, modifications, deletions), collecting information from the relevant teams and integrating it into the mapping;
• participating in periodic review campaigns of the various IT system assets;
• contributing to the tooling and improvement of mappings and repositories;
• implementing new functionalities on the MyCarto solution from AB+SOFTWARE, autonomously and/or in collaboration with the publisher;
• participating in data modeling work;
• coordinating reverse engineering work carried out by the development teams to reconstruct or update data models;
• taking charge of certain redocumentation activities.
• Solid IT culture and significant experience with information systems.
• Very good analytical and synthesis skills, with an aptitude for quickly identifying and formalizing essential information.
• Good command of data modeling techniques and MERISE and/or UML languages.
• Ability to support development teams, explain modeling methods, and review or complete their work.
• Knowledge of the banking and/or securities sector would be appreciated, but is not essential.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, dynamism, communication skills, listening ability, and capacity to convince and federate the various stakeholders.
