Project overview

Mission Context

The consultant will be responsible for analyzing the existing architecture, documenting application components and technical dependencies, identifying risks, and ensuring the corrective and evolutionary maintenance of applications.

They will work closely with business and IT teams to ensure service continuity, data reliability, and solution maintainability.

Main Responsibilities

• Application Analysis and Architecture: Perform technical analysis of WinDev client-server applications, examine their structure, and document components, dependencies, and interactions with HFSQL databases.
• Technical Documentation: Produce detailed documentation of the architecture, interfaces, data flows, synchronization mechanisms, and operating procedures.
• Dependency Management: Inventory WinDev, WebDev, HFSQL licenses, and third-party components, as well as infrastructure, version control tools, and deployment procedures.
• Risk Management: Identify risks of data loss or corruption, vulnerabilities, technological dependencies, and maintenance difficulties, then propose preventive and corrective measures.
• Corrective Maintenance: Diagnose incidents, analyze anomalies, and develop necessary corrections for the proper functioning of applications.
• Evolutionary Maintenance: Design and develop functional evolutions validated by business teams.
• Testing and Deployment: Perform technical tests, support user acceptance testing, and ensure the deployment of corrections and evolutions.
• Support and Consulting: Provide technical expertise to IT teams and business managers to ensure the longevity of applications.
• Knowledge Transfer: Facilitate the potential takeover of maintenance by a third party through complete and usable documentation.
