The assignment focuses on improving the Record-to-Report process in collaboration with the client and the outsourcing partner.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Analyzing existing R2R processes, systems, and working methods
• Identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and quality issues in the process
• Determining the causes of deviations, errors, and unreliable reporting
• Connecting the client, outsourcing partner, and internal stakeholders
• Translating operational problems into improvement proposals and business cases
• Establishing and implementing KPIs, controls, and quality objectives
• Managing improvement and implementation projects within Finance Operations
• Anchoring structural improvements in processes, governance, and collaboration
• Proven experience within Finance Transformation, Shared Service Centers, or Finance Operations
• Thorough knowledge of Record-to-Report processes
• Experience with outsourced finance environments
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strong ability to quickly get to the core of complex issues
• Hands-on mentality focused on actually realizing improvements
• Experience with process improvement, performance management, and KPI implementation
• Experience in an international corporate environment is a plus
• Experience with offshore finance operations, preferably with a Shared Service Center or outsourcing partner in India
• Willingness to occasionally travel to the Indian delivery location for one to two weeks
