for a long-term infrastructure project in the Hamburg area, I am currently looking for an experienced freelance site manager for pipeline construction / district heating (m/f/d).

The focus is on the site management and construction supervision of pipeline construction work in the district heating sector. We are looking for a personality with experience in pipeline construction who manages construction sites independently and ensures execution in terms of quality, safety, and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Site management and construction supervision in pipeline and district heating pipeline construction
• Coordination of executing companies on the construction site
• Supervision of welding, insulation, and assembly work
• Ensuring quality, occupational safety, and deadlines
• Documentation of construction progress
• Carrying out acceptances and coordination with all project participants

• Several years of experience as a site manager or construction supervisor in pipeline or district heating construction
• Experience in KMR pipeline construction desirable
• Knowledge of pipeline and route construction
• Experience in coordinating subcontractors
• Independent and structured way of working
• Strong communication skills on the construction site
• Experience in infrastructure or energy projects
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards
• Experience in dealing with authorities, utility companies, and clients
